While either engine would be fine, the nose area ahead of the firewall is not terribly spacious. I installed an OS .46 AX in my Tiger 2 and couldn't be happier with it. It has plenty of power for all sport manuevers and it's easy starting and reliability can't be over-emphasized. It is a perfect combination for the plane.
