Why not vacuum form the canopy in 3 parts? Small work pieces and the option for sliding canopy. Plus less costly and complicated replacement of only the damaged parts not the entire thing should anything happen!
On the gear: I bought the Yellow Aircraft ones as the CMP zero is only an inch or two larger so, pretty much the same scale and the struts are very scale in how they work. My build on this model begins this winter. I had to complete my P40 and fly her all last summer. Now that that is out of the way I really can't wait to begin this build. Over the last few years I have acquired all the servos, switches etc. needed..... My ASP 400 Radial is even broken in too!
