So it looks like there may be a rational for using very high powered servos on the stabs...? I like the brushless motors used by Futaba in the BLS series. Futaba states that the 451 and 452 are "car" servos but they are tough and work great in heli's. The same spec "airplane" BLS servos cost a lot more. They have nice tight gear trains for MG servos. The 6030's are pretty high power servos, the Futaba 9156/9157 are about the same price as the JR's. I agree on a decent, robust, MG steering servo
