Too many tree stumps and obstacles and also too small. The Chandler Bowl would be a better choice for now. It’s a purpose made field with a runway. The city takes care of the runway and the outer field of grass. It’s large enough for sport flying of up to 47’’and 57‘’ sport planes, but not large enough to do any pattern. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>It’s <span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>located behind Lows Hardware on Chandler Blvd and the 101. The guys that fly there are very friendly and helpful. It’s not an AMA sanction field .
