Ok Spitty fans-
Just an update on the Ziroli Spitfires.
Both Spits have 8 flights on them and they are in storage for the winter here in Indiana as the snow will fly soon.
So far the engine-to-airframe combination is very good. I don't think I would go any smaller or bigger.
Our biggest problem has not been overheating but getting enough air in and out of the fus for the carb to breathe.
The solution has been to use the actual full scale carb intake for air in and the radiator for air out.
They are amazing in the air and the ground handling is very good as well.
Like all spits, keep the tail light and you be rewarded with a wonderful flying aircraft.
