Will a 30 amp ESC be adequate?
I am finishing up an electric powered glider for my brother.
Hobby Lobby Skimmer. It has a 70" wingspan, the instructions project a 44 oz flying
weight. Motor is already installed, is a brushed s600. Prop is Graupner
folding 8x4.5. Given that as a glider, the motor will be just used to get to
altitude (short run time on the motor), will a 30 amp ESC be adequate for this
plane. An ESC for a brushed motor of course. I plan on using a 2200
3S lipo battery.
Thanks for any guidance.
