What is the thickest point on your root rib, tip rib and what is the length of one wing panel? with that info we can head down a productive path.

Bob

The wing panel is 38" the root is 2 1/2" thick
I drew it out this morning on paper. With a 1 1/2" tube at the root their is 1/2" at the top and the bottom of the wing
At 13" (1/3 of the wing length) the panel is 2" thick/
At 13" their is 1/2" thickness between the top of the wing and about 1/8" at the bottom of the panel because of the taper.
Their will be plywood bedded in the wing for the socket to run through for added strength, at the end of the socket and 6" from the root with plywood at the root.
I'm going to guess that the all up weight will be 9lbs or more.
