What makes you think the front is getting more drive than the rear? If it is because the front wheels are spinning then that is just the weight tranferring to the rear and the front has less traction. If nothing is binding (wheels/hubs/shafts/etc) then there is no problem.
The diffs should be interchangable if you feel like swapping them round.
If the clutch is engaging too late for you then lighter springs or heavier shoes will make it engage earlier.....providing there is no problem with your existing clutch such as shoes binding on the posts.
