So in answer to your question, Yes, the .60 NX would work OK flying the plane. But since the engine weighs less than the regular sized .61 engines, you may need to add some more lead to the plane to get the CG to come out OK.

But a better choice would be the .61 NX engine. It is a little larger and heavier and would fit the plane better.
