RE: Lead outs?
I have made this comment before, re: the so-called Tuf-strand lines I've known people who tried them. I don't know anyone who has tried them twice.
They are so large in cross section that there is a huge increase in line drag. If you try them on a model previously flown with normal steel lines, the model will probably end up coming across the circle on you.
One would be much better off using a Spectra or Dyneema fishing line (Spiderwire or equivalent). Well proven and lots of info available. Use the same diameter as you would steel, as per Safety code.
For the Nobler/LA40, .015 x 60 feet, (.7mm x 18.5 m) as detailed above. BTW, .015 Spiderwire is 80 lb. test, I believe.
