Currently building a GP 40 Cub, and i didnt think ahead to installing the tailwheel. I want to use a Ohio Superstar tailwheel assembly instead of the supplied wire tailwheel. However i have already sheeted the bottom on the fuse.
My question is, if i was to cut out the very aft section of the bottom fuse,where the fuse joins, Install a small piece of 5 ply and brace it with 2 small triangle stock. Would that be sufficient support to mount the tailwheel assy?
