Default RE: why are wing tips UP , Down , or flat ?

daRock you build a beautiful plane but there is alot of difference between yours and mine. When I made the changes alot of thought went into them, I did not want to change the well known good characteristics but add to them. Since I first asked the question I have been reading related to my concernes the many threads in this section and found much of what I was looking for plus much more, some of which you have commented on. I will put the end plates on as several said, including you, that they do in fact help in more than one way. Much of what we do to our planes depend alot on our own experiences and I have found logic and commen sence helps some also.

I have an airframe / engine back ground but there wasn't much aerodynamics involved in my training so there is always more in life to learn, I'm also a old guy by some standards and this old dog can be taught new tricks so to speek. Great having so many out there that know more than me because my planes will fly better right off the table. Thank you all Leroy
