RE: UW 3000 fabric for a runway
Years back a different club I belonged to at the time did a fabric runway with a fabric used to go down before paving a road. We did a 60' x 600' runway. Its like flying off of cushioned linoleum. BUT, the drawback is that it can be damaged by prop strikes. I hear they use composite roofing material to and cold tar to patch it. Its still going after about 6 years.
