Default RE: GP Waco?

ORIGINAL: cannonball200

Capt Todd, No nose weight added. It weighs about 16 1/4 #. I used a 6 volt nicad 2400 stuffed forward in the nose as well as a 4 cell nicad, I believe 1 1400mah, for the engine also stuffed forward in the nose.

Thanks,
Eddie of OKC
Thanks for your info....ok, you are talking about the Great Planes Waco right? It is supposed to be: Weight: 12.75 - 13.75 lb (5.78 - 6.23 kg) as per great planes. Yours is over 16 pounds? wow... How could great planes have gotten it so wrong?. Also I think it is not good that they don't specify that a dle20 or dle30 would work. My friend has a great planes super stearman with the dle30 in it and it has crazy torque on takeoff and is somewhat overpowered in my opinion. I think it would be the similar with the dle30 in this plane. Anyone else on here know what their great planes waco weighs rtf?
