RE: E Z Arf Models
Just read the entire thread; man, talk about a trip down Memory Lane! I LOVED these models, and had 7 or 8 of them until Hobby Shack stopped carrying them (maybe because of the fire?).
The Cessna 40T, as marketed by RPM instead of EZ, was my favorite flyer. I had three of them at various times. The "trainer" description was real funny; with its skinny, double-tapered wing, that model was anything BUT a trainer. But with a 48 Surpass, it was simply too cool for the late 80s time frame.
The hardware generally sucked, but the airframes were primo. If I were to stumble across one NIB today, I'd probably buy and fly it just for nostalgia's sake.
