I looked into the chassis coversion.
The main part you need is (or maybe was, as I couldnt actually find it for sale anywhere) $50. Then you need some other parts and a circuit chassis. Gonna run $75 to do the conversion that way.
Im gonna do the tires, links, shocks and see what its like 1st.
I had considered mounting my battery under the chassis, by just making a plate between bridging the front/rear skid plates.
look on the place that makes it site they sell it from there.
still would just use the idea and make your own out of aluminum though as it would be cheaper if I were you
