ok i think i get it now, could u say ur building a track car for friendly racing?

ive done the same with a slash, its setup for our local track, but it far from been a race worthy truck
it fine against my mates slash but it struggles with anything els, its got plenty of power and speed, (mesured @ 0.74hp with a watt meter)
but im finding its very easy to traction roll and i loose so much speed around the tight sweeping bends. compared to the 1/10 stadium trucks
from what u are saying the EXC has the oppsit problem to the slash, im trying to decrease front traction on my slash and u are trying to increase the front traction.

hey just thinking, ive fitted some Losi XXX shocks to my slash and ive got nearly every spring rate for them, it makes setting up so simple. It doesent take long to swap over the springs and even changing the oil is so simple. because they fill from the bottom u just un bolt the bottom ballend from the suspension, swing the shock up on the top mount, and unscrew the oring cartridge. simple as that.
Because the top of the shock is part of the housing and NOT a screw on cap u dont have to worry about it leaking there, or even breaking off, allso u can get TiN coated shafts for added protection to the shaft. they only have one possible spot to leak, and u can buy oring cartridge's for next to nothing

it doesent cost much for the shocks and the springs are so cheap, great upgrade IMO
