Got some good news!! I got in contact with the builder of the Leopard C2 from this site:

His name is Micheal and he has been very helpful in providing me background info on his build. Also he might be able to get turret-hull for you if you need it. Right now he is in the process of scratch building 2 X C6-GPMG. If you go to the rc-panzerketten-forum you can see how he is doing it. You both should trade notes and maybe you can help each other out.

Moreover, I got contact with Paul Fredenburg and he has a great build of the Leopard C2.

I have question for you. Did the Tamiya Leopard 1A4 1/16 kit you purchased from AAF include metal treads or where they made out of nylon? I am planning on buying the Tamiya 1A4 kit and this will help me in deciding on buying the kit or everything separately.
