RE: kmp d3 due november 30th i just ordered one
I have the ESM DC-3 which I purchased from ARF-Pro. It's basically the same, as I believe it is ultimatey manufactured by the same company in China. It's a well built arf for what an arf is. As with most arf's the instructions suck, and the DC-3 has one issue that I had to change and that is the tail wheel itself and the linkage that goes with it. I got the coverd wing set which is ok, but I wish I had spent the extra $ and gone with the built up wings. There was some one here that did go electric but don't recall the details. The problem with going electric would be easy access for battery exchange. You would probably have to cut a hatch in the fuse belly forward of the wing. Plus you will need a lot of extra weight to get it balanced, which with the size batteries needed to power this arf would provide. Just my $.02 ACF
