After seeing the Traxxas demo at the San Antonio Monster Jam, I decided that the RC toys cars my son (6yoa) has are just a waste of time and a source of too much frustration, so I decided to look into hobby-grade cars. I picked up an old beater with some spare batteries and a crappy wall charger. It's a Team Associated RC10 T2. It has definitely on upgrading and repairing the car, like good replacement parts and sources, recommended upgrades/aftermarket parts, stupid beginner mistakes to avoid, essentials for the hobby, etc.

I am also looking to ID the spare engine, which was supposedly the original. Here are links to some photos:
