Multi ton full scale aircraft are NOT the same and do NOT behave the same as small scale representations on the ground.
That's what I said (if read in context). The previous long engineering explanation is no doubt generally valid for full-scale aircraft. That doesn't mean it's going to be the final word for our teeny model aircraft...though I might take it seriously if I were building a 1/3 scale Spitfire or 1/3 scale Lancaster.
