RE: Hitec Telemetry-GPS speed??
Yes it will. Ihad posted a longer message but it seems to have gotten lost in the system.
The GPS works fine. Some things to note:
The TM of speed and altitude do not seem to work well below 50 feet even though it works well on the ground. If you walk with the model it will say 3 mph etc. My field has 30 to 40 feet trees around the edges but this should not really interfere with the GPS. Some time the GPS reading on the ground will say something like "1333 ft distance"
Also the TX display does seem to store the max speed and altitude after each flight reliably.
I have the TM voice thing on my TX. This works great but you have to get used to the delays. The TM system seems to update slowly with a lag so if you dive down for example you may not get the peak speed as the next update may be later when you have slowed for a turn etc. So you need to get used to this and plan your runs to account for it the best you can by estimating where you want to be from the last update you heard.
You have to program your RF module to select the things you want the voice system to announce. The HP-22 allows you to do this.
I have the blue TM system to measure voltage, current, rpm, speed and altitude. All if these work well and are very useful with electric models in verifying current predictions and comparing things with different props etc.
Have fun,
