RE: Top Flite GS P-47 sports scale; diary of a build
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in">Onto the engine, that should be here soon and I will know if it fits or not. I have been reading about 4-blade props and it is difficult to find the right one. They tend to load the engine up so you can loos some thrust and speed. And they act like an air break too. So it may be a good thing that I am trying the DLE85, if I can get a 4-blade to work, then great. I know that the DLE55 wont spin a scale sized 4-blade and still have performance. I think you get about 25lb thrust. The prop I am looking at is the Biela 4-22x10 I will be breaking in with a 24x10 and reducing my throttle curve to not exceed 7200 rpm. I am going with the Tru-Turn spinner 1-3/4” x 2-1/4” I have used them before on my DLE55 and my Lion.</div><div style="margin-bottom: 0in">

Here are some pics of mikes68chargers P-47 He has a ZDZ80cc on his and in the pic he has a 22”-4 blade and the other is a 18” 3-blade. The 50cc is underpowered to swing a big 4-blade.</div>
