Jim:
I'm looking for a regulator and you make 5.7 and 6.0 Volt units. On the F3A site they both say they are 5.7 volt output. Am I correct in assuming that's a typo ?
I'm using the Futaba R6208SB (high voltage) receiver operating 3-8411's and 2-BLS 153's.
My question is: which regulator would be better for my particular set-up ? Or, am I overthinking and either one will be just fine.
Thanks,
Randy
Hello Randy,
If you are using it with a 2s LiPo go for the 6.0 volt. Your input voltage will always be well above 6 volts. The 5.7 volts would be selected for a 5 cell NiCd or NiMH and will regulate with as low as a 5.9 volt input.
