Glad I'm not the only one that caught that. If he goes to a club there is usually a lot of stuff given to a new pilot so they don't have to buy it. A starter may be one of the items. If set up correctly and primed most engines are easy to start hand flipping but a starter is much easier for a new person to use. Find the helper!
