I'm not sure how the 18 works (haven't played with it yet), but are you trying to bind a DSMX Rx with the Tx set to DSM2? I saw this the other day with a DX8 and it turned out the wrong ''modulation'' was set in the Tx and wouldn't bind with the Rx until it was changed.

Isn't the R1221 DSM2 and the Rx that comes with the 18 DSMX?

I have to correct my post above^^^

It was NOT that the rx wouldn't bind, it was the fact that it wouldn't work the controls when set to DSMX.

I just wanted to make that clear, Sorry!
