Just to clarify, the RX will bind in either DSM2 or DSMX mode, (it depends on what you have set on your TX)

If you set your TX to DSMX and bind to an olderNON DSMX RX that is only capable of DSM2 then the TX will drop to DSM2 for the Bind..

Check this video I made that will help you see which Mode your RX is actually in...

There is a very easy way to confirm it is in DSMX...
