I am sorry that you had a bad experience with Trim Solvent. I have used it with great success. You definitely need to use it in a well ventilated area.
A little will go a long ways. I have used it for adding small trim pieces or for sealing trim edges. You have to use it sparingly.
I also use it to clean up smearing of monokote when sealing the edges with a iron. It works great for that.
