Hey Gray Beard. When you go over the trim, with your trim iron, do you use a sock on it, or just the bare iron? I have gone over all the Monokote with my regular iron, and a sock, but I think I will go over the trim again. Also jetmech05, I only use some dishsoap and water.&lt;script id=''overlay_tmpl'' type=''text/html''><div id=''<%= overlayId %>'' class=''_mp3rocket_overlay_style'' style=''left: <%= overlayLeft %>; top: <%= overlayTop %>; width: <%= overlayWidth %>; height: <%= overlayHeight %>''></div></script&gt;
I use the little trim iron and no sock. I only go around the edges. With mono trim I like using a blend of water and ammonia or windex with some added ammonia first then a day or two later I go around the edges. I never use anything with ammonia in it for clean up of on a plane. I use nothing to seal the edges of the covering either. If the plane is dust free before covering then the covering sticks very well to the wood and even better to itself. I do use more Ultra then mono for the main covering but I like mono for trim work due to the ammonia activation.
