Default RE: Trimsolvent. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

In order to remove the color bleed after using trim solvent I use acetone. Acetone will remove the color without loosening the trim at all. But acetone also has a strong odor. I don't think acetone is as dangerous though.

I have had good luck using the trim solvent, including to seal down the trim on a Twinstar. But yes, it stinks and has health issues. Maybe best to use it outside or in your garage with the doors open. I moisten a Q-tip in trim solvent then run it along the edge. Enough solvent wicks into the edge to create a solid bond. Then put the Q-tip in the garbage outside your house.

By the way, if you read the MSDS for methyl alcohol, the main ingredient in glow fuel, it is also bad stuff.
