I've made some progress! Thanks to
Buckeye36 I got the last bunch of panzer III wheels I needed, so, I started painting! Woohoo!
Also a big thank you to
sassgrunt for the Republic of Hatay decals! They are really sharp
anyhoo I did a pretty simple spray job of light and dark brown, home depot paint
Used the darker brown for some depth and around more 'dirty' areas of the tank.
I'm in the process of giving it a highlighting wash in dark grey (acrylic... water beads off the basecoat so it has a neat effect). The last pics are in the halfway done the wash phase.
Final phase is a clear coat in "frosted window" clear, from home depot. That stuff is awesome
