Default RE: Trainer List

The LT-40 is probably one of the best trainers out there, it is priced a little higher but SIG is good quality stuff.

I started on a Hobbico Superstar and it turned out to be a great plane. I read a lot of good stuff about it and like I say, it was all true.

To be honest I dont think trainers matter as much as your second or third plane. Most trainers exhibit the same basic traits.

If you want to go with the most popular stuff (always a good idea for starters) then it would have to be either the Avistar, the LT-40, or the Superstar.
The Alpha trainer is also fairly popular.

Any of these planes would be great and offer everything you need in a plane to learn to fly.
