Propeller tubes.....

I was thinkin if you had a stainless outer tube mounted solid in a board it could be the tube the other wearable brass/bronze tubes could be inserted into..... i think K-H2o already does this..... apart from a way solid permanent fixture the extra weight could add to the self righting as well.

Anyway if a permanent staino tube was part of the board.... all types of drive scenarios could be fitted then easily removed for bearing replacement or solid to flex drive hey whatever.

So my question is.... what kind of glue/silastic/loctite could be used to provide a seal but still be able to be heated (or whatever) to release the worn bearing tube from the staino permanent tube easily for replacement?

Obviously running thrust point at the prop end of the tube would need more design thoughts (maybe run thrust washer system bearing on outer tube) but thinkin something solid as part of the board and easily replaceable wear bits maybe good for a long and repairable life for a board...

and maybe its already been sorted and i missed the post...... lol
