I'm looking to add a second Staggerwing to my hangar assembled from TopFlite parts. I recently obtained a bunch of parts off Tower Hobbies Inventory Reduction page (fuse, cowls, wing struts, stab/elevator, tubes, tail cone, rudder, etc.) basically a complete fuse assembly minus hardware. Got all this for around $150.00 shipped.

They have been out of wings since the Stagger was discontinued some time ago.

My current option is to have foam cores cut using my current set for templates. Basically the chord is constant with rounded tips. Pretty easy using foam cores.

My plan is to model the second ship after a variant of the Beech Staggerwing 17R which did not have retracts. Fixed gear with huge wheel pants and possible a float plane setup to boot.

If I can find some TF wings (new, used, even damaged) the process can be simplified. If anyone knows of some, let me know.
