That field is located just east of Huffman, TX which is just north-east of Houston. Official Club address is Humble, TX.
Jetero RC Club, Inc. (AMA Charter 1218) is the owner of that field. There is a contoured 100' x 600' grass runway with 5 protected flying stations. The field has 900" of state highway frontage.
There is currently 3800 Sq. Ft. of metal shelter over concrete, with another 800 to soon be added. The shelter has a semi-enclosed Transmitter impound area and a kitchen with hot and cold water. Indoor toilets are just outside the main shelter area. Electricity is available at all the shelter areas.
It certainly is nice to Lease TO the farmer rather than vice versa.
Field mowing is contracted out, about five acres. The farmer keeps the hay well cut on all the remaining acrage.
Adult club dues are $150.00 per year with an initiation fee of $50.00. AMA Jr./Sr. members are $25.00 per year with no initiation fee.
