Default Which chinese factories make various brushless motor brands?

HERE IS ALIST OF KNOWN CURRENT MANUFACTURERS OF BRUSHLESS MOTORS:
-Please feel free to add to this list, if you know of any other manufacturers that have been missed off:

A very major manufacturer of brushless motors is:
SunRay Technology Co., Ltd. Shenzhen: http://sunraytechnology.com
Manufacturer of: HACKER outrunner motors, Extreme-Flight TORQUE brushless motors

-IMPORTANTLY, it now appears certain that SunRay Technology also manufacture the "TURNIGY SK3" range of motors (sold by HobbyKing) -which appear to be identical motorsto HACKER and TORQUE motors, and also to:Z-HYPERION, LIPOLICE, PELIKAN FOXY, GENS ACE motors -and to other brands made by this factory (see below) ...
-It seems that TURNIGY SK3 motors may be essentially identical to matching-sizeHACKER and TORQUE motors, the big difference being that that TURNIGY SK3 motors only cost ~30% that of HACKER and TORQUE motors. TURNIGY SK3 motors may actually be HACKER motors for 1/3 of the price ....

-SunRay Technology also manufacture: "LIPOLICE" motors (Schweighofer, Austria), RCM-PELIKAN "FOXY" brushless motors (sold by: PelikanDaniel, Puffin models), GENS ACE motors, Shulman Aviation "FURY" motors, OK HOBBY INFINITE motors, VIPER VA20 motors, SONIC ELECTRIC SE motors, MEGAPOWER TAURUS motors -all these brands of motor have identical specs and appear to be the same as HACKER and TORQUE motors (-which are themselves clones ofgeneric SunRay motors).
-SunRayalso manufacture HYPERION "Z"-SERIES motors (-the older series of Hyperion motors, before the "ZS" series. "ZS"motors aremanufactured by Scorpion, and Hyperion "ZS"motors are identical to Scorpion)-The older Hyperion "Z" series motors have identical specs to HACKER, TORQUE, LIPOLICE, GENS ACE, OK HOBBY INFINITE, etc etc (see later posts in this thread).
-Puffin Models website actually states: "Pelikan Foxy Brushless Motors .... are produced by the manufacturer of Hacker outrunner motors" - http://www.puffinmodels.com/category.php?dept=281 -The situation is therefore very clear indeed.

-SunRay Technology factory also make: NOVA-LINE motors (sold by PILOTAGE-RC.COM in Eastern Europe), LIPOTECH motors (sold in Italy) -both have same external look to Torque motors;Nova-Line and Lipotechmotors have identical specs to Hacker, Torque, Z-Hyperion motors and all the other brands.
-Sunray also make APACHE motors -some look identical externally toHacker, others look identical toTorque; -they are sold by ANYRC.COM and others in Korea and Far East. - http://www.anyrc.com/product_html/pr...&bc_number=101 In Europe, APACHE motors are sold by SLOWFLYER.CH in Switzerland-http://www.slowflyer.ch Apache motors have identical specs to Hacker, Torque, Z-Hyperion motors and all the other brands.

-Shulman Aviation FURY motors -some look similar to GENS ACE motors, some look similar to Hyperion-Z orSK3 motors; FURY motorshave an identical naming system to HACKER, and have identical specs to HACKER / TORQUE/Z-Hyperion motors etc etc -therefore it is certain that the "FURY" motors come from the same SunRay Technology factory as HACKER, TORQUE, GENS ACE etc -see http://shulmanaviation.com/index.php...30b9b2b0c069b6
-Note Shulman website states: "FURY motors feature Quality NSK {JAPAN} Ball Bearings, Curved neo-magnets, and high efficiency stator design" -an identical statement made widely for HACKER motors. For instance, Aeroshack states for all HACKER motors: "These motors .... feature Oversize bearings, Curved Neo-magnets and High efficiency stator design". - http://www.aeroshack.co.uk/shop/gbu0...kerMotors.html

It isalmost certain(99%)thatSunRay Technology also manufacture the O.S. "OMA" series of brushless motors, and the Futaba FMA50mm diam motors.
Sunray Technology also make: The BMI-Models Spitz range of motors; the Precision Aerobatics THRUST motors;and also the Common-Sense-RC E-series of motors(now largely discontinued -just a few left, they say...). They also make the BOOST range of motors (available from Robotbirds in UK -they look really nice motors ... -very similar appearance to the Z-Hyperion motors). All these ranges of motors have identical specs to Hacker, Torque, Z-Hyperionand all the other brands (see later posts in this thread).

-SunRay Technology also make many ESC's -they manufacture:Hacker,Hyperion Titan and Airboss ESC's.They also makeCommon-Sense-RC;Sonic Electric; Gens Ace,OK Hobby Infinite;BMI-Models Spitz;Shulman Aviation;Apache;and also Turnigy Trust ESC's.They also make the range ofTURNIGY DLUXdata logging ESC's (sold by HobbyKing-identical to BMI Spitz data log ESC's)
See: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/fb.asp?m=11452486 -post #43 onwards

The fact that the Sunray Technology factory makesboth ESC's and brushless motorshas been confirmed by ExtremeFlight themselves,
see:
http://www.extremeflightrc.com/html/news.html -in"Spring/Summer 2011 news" pictures -where Chris Hinson comments: "... Nelson (Fong) manufactures our Torque motors and Airboss ESCs and traveled all the way from China to attend SEFF this year ..." -Note that: Nelson Fong is the owner of the SunRay Technology factory, in Shenzhen, China.

XYH, EMP, Electric
Model Power http://en.xingyaohua.com/html/default.html -Also sold as: Turnigy "standard" -these areXYH "C-type" motors;Turnigy "AerodriveXp SK" -these were XYH "N-type" motors; Also sold as: Turnigy "L"-type "Air" motors, HobbyKing NTM Prop-drive motors, Purple Power "4-max" -ALL the 4Max "Purple Power" motors are made by XYH .., XYHmotors also sold as: Overlander "Tornado Thumper", some older DualSky, Ray, Pelikan "Ray", Hextronic, HXT, Exceed RC, Aeolian, Gemini, Aeronuts, Firepower, Twister, B*********, BRC "Wasp" motors-and many other names; Also sold on eBay as "Red EMP", "Mystery", "Blue Silver" "Power" and many other names...: It isverypossible that TACON motors (sold by Hobbypartz.com) are made by XYH(-theyhave similar specsto E-Flite motors, and use a similar "IC equivalent"naming system to E-Flite).However,Tacon motors are identical to Exceed-RC "Monster Power" motors, which are almost certainly XYH-EMP motors. A few retailers e.g. Giant Shark in the UK, actually sell these motors as "XYH"motors -this is unusual. Some retailers sell these motors as "EMP"motors.

Zhuhai Huamai Electronics and Model, also called: Chinahimark, Himark, Himax, Himark Electronic & Model Co: http://www.chinahimark.com/ - (see http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=248261 -the chinahimark.com website stopped working in late 2012 ... Perhaps as an OEM manufacturer, they no longer wished to show their motors publicly ?)
They are: Manufacturer of all E-FLITE motors.

Chinahimark also manufacture all the "HIMAX" motors, sold by MAXX PRODUCTS - http://www.maxxprod.com -and distributed in Europe as: e.g. "Multilpex Himax", "JPEnerg" and "TopModel XPower" motors (and probably others brands also ...). Some of the Chinahimarkmotors are also labelled as "HIMARK" motors -especially in Australia / New Zealand / Far East. The Multilpex Himax", "JPEnerg" and "TopModel XPower" motors all appear largely identical in both appearance and in specification to to each other, ansd also to E-Flite motors.
The Chinahimark factory almost certainly also make the Turnigy "EasyMatch" G-Series motors -which appear identical in naming,in all specs and in appearance to E-Flite motors.
The Chinahimark factory alsomake the larger (35mm diam) LogicRC Fusion motors and also some Tahmazo motors, as these appear identical in specs and in appearance to XPower, E-Flite and Himax motors. The 35mm diam LogicRC Fusion are also the same as Robbe Roxy 35mm motors.
E-FLITE motors are similar (but NOT identical) in specsto TACON motors (sold by Hobbypartz.com). Tacon have a different external appearance. Tacon motors may possibly be made by Chinahimark factory, however it is much morelikelythey are made by the XYH-EMP factory.

Suppo Model: ( -Also sold as: Turnigy "H" motors, Mystery, HiModel, Giant Cod / Giant Shark "SP", Giant Shark "Strong Power" motors, Grayson, BP Hobbies, Helimate, Dynamo, B********* -and many other brand names ... ): http://www.suppomodel.com/ Sold as "Suppo" motors (i.e. original brand name)by Altitude Hobbies in USA, and some other retailers (i.e. BPHobbies).

EMAX, YinYan Model, LoongMax ( -Also sold as: Turnigy "Typhoon" heli motors, Giant Shark "E-Power" ): http://www.yinyanmodel.com/
KEDA: http://www.kedamodel.com/ -often shown as "KD" motors -are basically poor low-quality copies of Hacker motors
Dong Yang Servo Power Model Co.,Ltd: -Manufacturer of the DYS motors, which are also "Turnigy XP" motors: http://www.dys.hk/

Aoyuxiang, Aoxan, Aoxing: http://aoxan.en.alibaba.com/ http://aoxan.en.gongchang.com/
Once Top Motor Manufacture Co., Ltd: www.wanzhida.cn-have been suggested to manufature some Horizon Hobby (including E-Flite) motors

Pulso Motors
(-Also sold as: Innov8tive "Cobra" motors -with small changes- in USA): http://www.pulsosystem.com/
Motrolfly: http://www.motrolfly.com/ -part of a larger company, called Shenzhen DBY Technology Co. Ltd: http://www.dby-tech.com/products/
Tiger Motor, T-Motor: http://www.rctigermotor.com/ - -older versions of T-motor are same as the "Exceed-RC Legend" motors sold by Hobbypartz
Topband Motor, Shenzhen Topband CO., LTD - http://www.topbandmotor.com/en/chi/a...=161&comid=113 -Manufacturer of Exceed-RC "Optima" motors, and also of E-Flite EDF and Turnigy EDF motors

Shenzhen Feisuda Motor factory - www.fsd-motor.com -is manufacturer of Leopard motors http://www.leopardhobby.com/enindex.asp -these are the same as Power-HD motors - http://www.chd.hk/Product_List.aspx?cid=19&page=1 -and are also the same as Overlander "Tornado Thumber V2 MK2" motors.
-Shenzhen Feisuda Motors "fsd-motor" -are also often sold as "FC" motors and as "FSD" motors -Many of them can be seen on the HiModel website as "Type FC" motors and they can also can be seen on eBay as "FSD" motors. The motors sold by MileHighRC with black can/gold end housings are made by FSD.

Dualsky motors:
http://www.dualsky.com/product.asp?s...id=128&lid=146 -They appear to manufacture in own factory

SJ-Propo (Their chinese factory is: Aisijie Technology, in Shenzhen): http://sjproporc.com/ -SJ-Propo is a South Korean company.
( -Aisijie Technology is the previous chinese manufacturer of HACKER outrunner motors, before SunRay Technology took over).
(Just possible that O.S and Futabaoutrunner motors made by SJ-PROPO-but unlikely;SJ-PROPO manufactures the O.S and Futaba range of ESC's, and may also makeother O.S. and Futabadevices - http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_11215832/tm.htm )
See http://www.sjproporc.com/product-brushless.htm for current SJ Propo brushless motors.-These are the same motors as 28mm diam LogicRC Fusion and Tahmazo brushless motors (not surprising, since there is a close relation between SJ Propo, Fusion, LogicRC and Tahmazo .. ).They are also thesame as Robbe Roxxy 28mmdiam motors.
