Default RE: VK Cherokee Ailerons

<span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">congrats on your vk cherokee. had one years ago and it was an excellent
flyer and my favorite plane. met its fate due to radio failure, a beautiful spirling
dive from very high. total and complet distruction.
think I still have plans, will let you know, give me several days to find. I put things up
where they won't get lost??? sometimes never to be found again. have thought of building
another but this one used a metal mount for the nose gear, have looked for this to no
avail. could probably be mounted by other means however.</span>

</div><div>Hi,</div><div>Thanx, if you find the plans that will help ! Let me know what you need plus shipping. I will forward copies to others as needed, keep these classics alive. </div><div>This as an early 60-size kit, 65" wing with the metal mount you describe. It has a 1.5" nose extension, possibly for a 4-stroke or electric conversion. Plane was partially completed, then left for many years. Upper cowl hatch is missing so I'll have to fabricate that, quite easy. Windshield is in the box but that area is already built with balsa so windows will be rendered out of covering. </div><div>
</div><div>Looking forward to this project, I enjoy the vintage kits. What a buy this was!</div>
