I have a sig 4 star 40 that a friend at work gave me. I had to do a little repair work on it, and now I am ready to mount my new OS .46 LA engine. The mount I bought seems a little too short to have the propeller clear the tip of the plane. I also do not know if I should center the engine, angle it, etc.....

My questions are:

1. Can I shave the tip of the plane so the mount I have will work (looks are not important).

2. Should I just mount the engine dead center and even on the firewall, or is there something special I should do?

3. What size fuel tank should I get?
