I just finished one for an older gentleman in our club. It has an after market cowl. Saito .82 for power. It came in at 8.5lbs. The kit had some pretty heavy balsa in it. The only thing I changed out was the elevator stock. That felt like it was made of oak. I was worried about it being tail heavy. CG came out just right with the battery under the fuel tank. It think it will fly just fine.
