Pic looking down from the top into the battery box. Plans call for the top of this box to be 1/8" light ply. But I'm not sure why I wouldn't use balsa? It doesn't seem to be a load bearing structure. I know Mr Ziroli is smarter than me when it comes to designing planes, but I'm scratching my head on this one. Any thoughts?
