Default P120 Temperature probe failure (error)

Hey guys, a friend of mine just bought an early generation P120 and we tried to start it today. When the ECU powers up, the GSU had the "welcome screen" I'll call it, then goes directly to "Error: Temp probe failure" ( I think that's what it said, I just know it was a temp probe failure)

I tried doing a temp probe calibration but when I got to the screen, again it just told me "Error: Temp probe failure"

When I pushed the menu button it goes to the typical screen, but where it would read the temperature it was flashing 108C and -E- back and forth.

We tried unplugging all of the connections, blowing them out and plugging back in to no avail . I called Dean Wichmann who told me to unplug everything from the engine and power up the ECU to see what it said. It now said the exact same thing except the temp was 116C and flashed between that and -E-

Has anyone see this before and is there some kind of ECU reboot that we could try? It is an early version 4.9 ECU (in the soft case) or any other options before it gets sent in to Jetcat?

We'll try phoning Bob Wilcox tomorrow, but thought we'd see if any of the Jetcat guru's here had any idea's first.

Thanks
Jeremy
