2013 First In Flight Jet Rallly! May 22-26
First In Flight Jet Rally May 22-26 Wilson NC Thats right folks, it's nearly that time again. The 2013 First In Flight Jet Rally is just around the corner. Preps are being made to make this years FIF Rally the best ever. Last years rally was awesome, but that's not enough! You guys wanted more of it, and that's just what the doctor has ordered up for this years event.
First Change, an Extra Day of Flying! Thats right. You guys wanted FIVE days of cloud drilling fun and Wilson has delivered. This years event will officially start on Wednesday, May 22nd and continue through May 26. As in years past, flying will go all day until sunset. Early morning trim flights can be taken prior to pilots meeting each day beginning at 7:30.
Next Change. We're adding a Saturday Night Dinner. But not just a dinner, a Southern Style pig pick'n! Just to make sure you guys get a taste for BBQ, we'll be cooking the pig right on site! No need to leave the field, go to the hotel, change clothes and trek to some other location. Just roll your jet in to the big storage hanger and walk on over to the festivities.
Change #3 Awards Ceremonies will be on Saturday Night right after the BBQ. Even though Monday is a holiday, many of you guys need to bug out on Sunday morning. Nobody likes hearing someones name called out as a winner, only to hear " they had to leave"!
Now, couple all of this with an amazing flying facility, a 4500' X 150' runway, tons of hotels, restaurants, and shopping located within five minutes of the airport, and its all located right off I-95. Put all that together and you have "First In Flight"! We'll be posting much more info in the days to come including tent rental rates, hotels links, and much more. This is a great event folks and we're looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones. Hope to see you there.
