Default RE: Which (chinese) facctories make various brands of ESC ..?

4 main points:
1. We tend to think that so-called "top quality" brands such as O.S. and Futaba, might perhaps manufacture their own devices in their own facilities. -That O.S. and Futaba devices might perhaps be unique, that they might be somehow different and "higher quality" than other brands.
-And this is why we are generally prepared to pay more for an O.S. and Futaba item than we are for other brands.

2. However, this information proves conclusively that this is NOT the case -O.S. and Futaba simply re-brand many items made in OEM factories like SJ-PROPO, just as many other distributors / retailers do.

3. O.S. and Futaba do not manufacture these particular ESC's -it is the SJ-PROPO factory (in China or perhaps in S. Korea) that manufactures these 100A ESC's.
-They are then re-branded as O.S., Futaba, Fusion Hawk, LogicRC Fusion, Robbe, MegaPower, Tahmazo, and probably other names that we have not yet discovered. This re-branding -despite the fact they are all identical ESC's with identical features -has interesting price consequences.

4. It must also follow that ALL the ESC's in these different brand ranges will be identical, and will have same specs and features. They can all be programmed with the same distinctive box, so that they must be inter-changeable, and have the same software.
-Therefore, for instance,in addition to the 100A ESC'salready mentioned, the O.S. 50A ESC will be identical to the LogicRC-Fusion 50A ESC, the Robbe Roxxy 50A ESC, the SJ Propo Hawk 50A ESC, the MegaPower 50A ESC and to the Futaba 50A ESC; -the only difference between these ESC's will be the label stuck on the outside, and the retail price asked.
