i picked up a older p120 and i was unable to fire it up due to a broken temp sensor.i managed to pick a newone localy but it was from a 120sx,
plugged it in and no temp issue.now heres where some issues begin.it will fire up on the starter fuel (power max) then the starter motor stops and wont continue.
the temp on the gsu starts to go down even tho the engine is hot.
is there a differance on the temp sensors from the original 120 and other verions?
should i not be able to heat up the end of the seonsor and see the temp rise on the gsu?
from what i have been reading and please correct me if im wrong.. the temp seonsor does more that just measure the temp it also allows the caro fuel pump to start and engage the starter motor to continue to raise the rpm of the engine.
