RE: Which (chinese) facctories make various brands of ESC ..?
THE "SUNRAY" ESC PROGRAM CARD -IS ACTUALLY VERY DIFFERENT FROM THE ZTW ESC CARD
First two pics show ESC jumper program cards for an Apache ESC,and for a Common-Sense-RC ESC. 3rd pic shows the program card used for ALL ZTW (A-type) ESC's -no matter whetheritis branded "ZTW" or whetherit has another brand name onit( -there are a large number ofbrands for whomZTW makes ESC's...).
Compared to the ZTW card, the "Sunray" ESCprogram cards (i.e. Apache and Common-Sense-RC program cards) have:
-"Rx" and "EXT POWER FOR OPTO" at top of card;
-"Ni-XX" or "NiCd" and and a number list of Li cells at top left;
-Governor mode at lower rightarea (-instead of "Cut Off Voltage" on the standard ZTW card);
-"BRAKE ON / OFF" at bottom right of card (-not at bottom left, like ZTW card).
-6 pins at the top (-not 5 pins, like standard ZTW card).
-A different "look" -they doNOT have two central columns down the middle of the card, with writing placed sideways along the long axis of the card, as ALLZTW program cards do. Sunray ESCprogram cards have all the writing placed horizontally across the card, in small boxes demarcated by lines or by being shadedwith a background colour.
These features are diagnostic of a "Sunray" ESC program card -and show that a "Sunray"-type jumper card is not made by ZTW.
