Default RE: Comp ARF BAE Hawk build thread

ORIGINAL: husafreak

I am working on the Hawk wings and the Festo air connection on the main gear air cylinder is hitting the wing top surface (both sides). My options are to block up the gear mount about 2mm with ply strips or rotate the cylinders. I am hesitant to rotate the cylinders only because the flat head socket screws holding them seem very soft and very tight. I would have to heat them which might damage the rubber parts...
Normally you can grind/file the lower wing skin where the nipple sits to get clearance. You don't want to pack the gear, its all snug in that wing and the wheel tyre will touch the inner doors already.

If its a small amount pack the servos. I have had no problems cracking the horns, but not everyone is successful
Going to email the factory about this now and see if we can get it fixed!
