Thanks Dave, how thick is that wing skin?! As for the flap linkage, FYI, the rod comes from the flap horn and right thru the middle of the factory spar hole, but then hangs 5mm from the servo horn. So the factory should either put the servo packing in there and leave everything else the same or they have to change the angle on the flap horn and relocate the spar hole too. But I see now that the cracking required is very slight! Kenrico I would advise against ever bending a threaded rod, it makes them too weak and then they will flex too. If you go back thru the thread you will see you have to use CF tube over the pushrod or it will flex and I think the ball link is also not great because it will also deflect under load by twisting the servo arm.
There is a foam inner layer and its normally that that needs trimming (3/32" foam skin)
I have been talking with the factory this morning and we are looking at the problem again.
