Dr: Thanks so much for the rapid reply. Great info, & I must admit at the time I ordered the motor I thought the higher the KV the better, but I can now see it figures into the intended RPM. I am trying not to buy too expensive of a esc & motor combo because it's going in a HAN 9, 40 cub on floats, 7.5 to 8 lbs. and could well get dunked!!! Keep up the good info for us all. I was in New Zealand in about 1984 & it it was all they said it would be. Must be a great place to live. Again thanks, wallace.tharp
