I'm also looking at the Rotomax120
It's got a YS110 up front at the Mo so as you can see I'm not a fan of 'marginally powered' planes..
The good Doctor (Alan Levy) used to import the QQ range to the UK and here's his page with recommendations,-

As you can see the cheapie motors he mentions are no longer available...
I'll 8cell it but unlike most of the people on line who've lekkied them I'll use small 3700 or 4000 batts
to keep the weight down. I'm lucky to have decent on site charging and flying the YS I'm used to 6.5 mins flights.
