Thanks for the info on the E flight Retracts, I found out about this after I had purchased them. My buddy Ralph White had a set on his Dirty Birdy and his nose gear did just what you said, he had to replace it with a mechanical RT with its own servo..
I have cut some rubber pads to go under the mounting lugs on the nose gear.
There is nothing that bothers me more than a gear up landing. As for the 13 on the motor, that was my WAG to what it means !
